Stella Maris is a joint St Vincent's Care Services / Catholic Diocese development on Church Street, Maroochydore — a five-storey, 140-room aged-care facility together with the Stella Maris Church, presbytery, parish offices, meeting rooms, café and BBQ area.
The landscape brief pulls those uses onto one civic footprint: a forecourt and arrival lawn addressing the street, shaded gathering spaces for congregation and residents, and aged-care courtyards planted for daily use with sight lines back to the church and community facilities.
Landscape works on the earlier stage of the facility were completed in November 2016; the current concept extends that language across the remaining courtyards and civic frontage.
